Dean and Kendra Schaumburg
I am not sure how many family members are aware of the accident that Dean had. Here is a link that you can read a story published in the Oregonian about his accident and his recovery.

Hard to believe - December is almost here.
I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Before you know it you'll be taking down the Christmas tree and making New Years resolutions. I added a poll for people to vote on what activities they would like to do during the reunion. Feel free to leave a post if you have any other ideas. Also, feel free to leave any favorite songs, I will try and add those to the music list as well. Take care. Thank you Karen for getting the last letter and survey out.

Pictures from the Aasland family up North
It has been great to see everyone logging on the sight - here is a chance for all of you to see what is happening with the Aasland family in Alaska. Winter is here to stay, it has been getting down to zero and the snow is not melting. But enjoy the pictures from last summer. (Top, pictures of the Aasland's - look for the newest Aasland addition Sydney - see if you can pick everyone out, Brent - my fiance dipnetting for Copper River Reds, Carol and Arnie's house that overlooks the glacier and finally Josh playing soccer. He has since moved to indoor soccer for the winter)

Family whereabouts
Not sure where we are in the planning, but does anyone have a master list of addresses? If there are gaps I am sure someone in the family knows the most current address.

Aasland Family Tree
This is the perfect time to ask this question, and I think everyone would like to see this at the family reunion. I need to find family history on the Aasland side for a project at my daughters school. We did a brief one a few years when mom and dad was visiting Texas, and I was hoping to add more to it this time. I appreciate your help!! Hello to all!!!

I am on board
Hi Folks
Well that was easy to become a contributer. It will be lots of fun checking to see who has added posts. With all these blogs I have to keep up on, when will I have time for work?

Here we go!!!
Watch out - we are moving into the age of technology. Thanks to my sister in law Dana, she got me interested in blogs (you can view her and GR's sight at theaaslands.blogspot.com). And in talking with Susan and Sally - we decided to get a blog going to get in touch with everyone for the upcoming reunion! Please feel free to post any ideas you might have. THANK YOU to Joyce and Karen for getting the reunion started!! I am looking forward to seeing everyone. We'll be in touch!
