Wonderful time had by all

We would also like to put out a big thank you to Joyce and Karen for a job well done. After attending this I realized how long it had been since we had all seen each other.

I would like to thank Joyce and Karen for putting the reunion together. What fun we had, and I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to see everyone. Aunt Janice did a great job putting our family books together and family tree. Let's keep this blog going for the next one in 2 years for Aunt Janice and Uncle Maurice 50th wedding anniversary. Hopefully more of the Glenn Aasland family will be able to attend.

Now is the time

Just a friendly reminder that the reunion is fast approaching and we need to start hearing from everyone. I have made hotel reservations for the Maurice clan at the Extended stay deluxe in Hillsboro from Aug 7th - 11th. Some of the other hotels in the area are filling up fast. Let me know if anyone needs help finding rooms. Can't wait to see everyone this summer.

Up for a challenge?

Sally came across this site and thought the gang would appreciate it. Dad had a good laugh. Although I don't think he is ready for this challenge. Take a look and see, Busch, Stewart, Johnson and Junior don't have a thing on these guys - Motorhome racing. Do you think the junkyards sell old Winnebago's for $50? We can find a track somewhere in June, we'll bring our helmets. See you then!

Introducing the Floyds

Welcome Brent to the Aasland family. The wedding on Saturday, March 8th went smoothly. The groomsmen got the groom to the right church and the helpful bridesmaids made sure that Krissy looked beautiful. The flower brigade of kids showed their manners and tore up the dance floor - may have been the smores table that helped with their energy. Congratulations and Aloha.

Hotels

Ok it is time to pick a hotel I have narrowed it down to 3 but willing to look at others if someone else has a suggestion. The 3 are the Best Western in Forest Grove $104-129, Extended Stay in Hillsboro $104.99, and the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Beaverton $99 group rate. Please take a look and see what you think, I have info on all if you want more info just let me know. Please let me know if we want to book as a group or on our own. Thanks

Hagg Lake Reservation Made

Joyce and Janice have made a reservation at the park for August 9th. One more step completed. Karen is calling hotels in and around the area to check on rates and availability. More to come later.
